For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted,
He is able to aid those who are tempted.

Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.

Now it came to pass, when the time had come
for Him to be received up,
that He steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem,

And they put up over His head
the accusation written against Him:
THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.

And He said, Abba, Father,
all things are possible for You.
Take this cup away from Me;
nevertheless, not what I will,
but what You will.

When Jesus knew that His hour had come
that He should depart from this world to the Father,
having loved His own who were in the world,
He loved them to the end.

Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem,
and the Son of Man will be betrayed
to the chief priests and to the scribes;
and they will condemn Him to death,
and deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock
and to scourge and to crucify.
And the third day He will rise again.

Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
To receive power and riches and wisdom,
And strength and honor and glory and blessing!

You have forgiven the iniquity of Your people;
You have covered all their sin.

You have taken away all Your wrath;
You have turned from the fierceness of Your anger.

We receive the due reward of our deeds;
but this Man has done nothing wrong.

Jesus answered, I have told you that I am He.
Therefore, if you seek Me, let these go their way,

that the saying might be fulfilled which He spoke,
Of those whom You gave Me I have lost none.

Look to Me, and be saved,
All you ends of the earth!

For I am God, and there is no other.

Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.

For God so loved the world
that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him
should not perish but have everlasting life.

Then Pilate said to them, “Why, what evil has He done?”
But they cried out all the more, “Crucify Him!”

Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation.
The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

But He kept silent and answered nothing.
Again the high priest asked Him, saying to Him,
“Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?”

Jesus said, “I am.

And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.”

He was oppressed and He was afflicted,
Yet He opened not His mouth;
He was led as a lamb to the slaughter,
And as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
So He opened not His mouth.

And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel.

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace.
In the world you will[a] have tribulation;
but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said,
“It is finished!”

So Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowd,
`I find no fault in this Man.`

Caiaphas, being high priest that year, said to them,
You know nothing at all, nor do you consider that it is expedient for us
that one man should die for the people,
and not that the whole nation should perish.
